These have been out for a while, though I had never seen one of these HDD docks before. I definitely don’t have anywhere near the storage requirements to justify buying one of these, but just the thought of treating a 1.5 TB drive like an Atari 2600 cartridge makes me all giddy. You can even get silicon covers for the drives, so you can be like all those anal Magic the Gathering card collectors, except for the fact that you are protecting something of real value, for example, your installation of the online version of MtG.
